As of June 1, 2024, a unified electricity tariff for households has been in effect in Ukraine — 4.32 UAH/kWh.
This tariff was set by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 632 and will remain unchanged until April 30, 2025.
During the heating season, from October 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, for consumers who use only electric heating systems and do not have other types of heating, the following applies:
- for up to 2000 kWh per month, the preferential tariff will be 2.64 UAH/kWh;
- if this limit is exceeded, the cost will be 4.32 UAH/kWh
for the entire volume of consumption.
To receive the preferential tariff, it is important to comply with all regulatory requirements for the installation of electric heating.
If the installation was carried out before July 1, 2024, in compliance with the technical and regulatory requirements, as documented in the technical passport of the house/apartment and the distribution point passport, the consumer is entitled to the preferential rate.
Otherwise, the preferential kWh will not apply, and consumption will be charged at the unified rate.
Owners of dual-zone meters, which distinguish between day and night tariffs, have an excellent opportunity to save even more on electric heating.
The night tariff is 50% of the day tariff, which means:
- when using electricity up to 2000 kWh during the heating period, you can get a rate of 1.32 UAH/kWh at night.
