FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Ceramic Heaters

What is a ceramic heater?

A ceramic heater is an electric appliance where the primary heating element is a ceramic plate.

How is a ceramic heater constructed?

The heater consists of a ceramic plate, a heating element, and a metal casing. The heating element heats the plate, which in turn radiates heat into the room.

Why is a ceramic heater called infrared?

It's called infrared because it emits thermal waves, also known as infrared rays, which safely heat surrounding objects and people.

Is the infrared radiation from a ceramic heater safe?

Yes, the infrared radiation from these heaters is safe as they emit long waves (8.33 µm) that do not harm living organisms.

Is a ceramic heater suitable for use in children's rooms?

Yes, these heaters are safe for children because their maximum heating temperature does not exceed 85°C, which prevents burns and does not lead to fire hazards.

Can a ceramic heater be covered?

No! The heater should never be covered as this can lead to overheating and damage to the device.

Can a ceramic heater be drilled?

No! The heater is a ready-to-use electrical appliance. Drilling or otherwise compromising its integrity is strictly prohibited! This will lead to its damage and loss of warranty.

What power of ceramic heater should I choose for my room?

The power of the heater depends on the area and volume of the room, as well as its insulation. You can use our online calculator (button in the header) for an accurate calculation of the required power.

How do I determine the appropriate control type for a ceramic heater?

We offer three types of control: a simple switch (Series A), heaters with a thermostat (Series T), and models with a programming function (Series X). The choice depends on your preferences and operating conditions. For example, for heating residential areas where a "comfort" temperature is needed 24/7, it is better to choose Series A or T, while for industrial areas, Series X is recommended because it can be programmed for an "economy" mode during non-working hours.

What sizes do ceramic heaters come in, and how do I choose the right one?

Heaters come in different sizes depending on their power. For example, models with 500 and 750 watts of power are 47x102 cm, while the most powerful models (1300 and 1500 watts) are 60x102 cm. The size choice is important for harmonious placement in the interior. The thickness of the heater depends on the presence of an air convection system. For example, models up to 700 watts are 12 mm thick, while models with dual eco-convection can be up to 82 mm thick. This is important to consider for proper placement in a room. In some cases, it may be more practical to use several lower-power heaters instead of one high-power heater to evenly distribute heat throughout the room or better integrate with the interior design.

What colors are available for ceramic panels?

We offer standard colors: beige and graphite. There is also the option to add an image to the heater. You can choose a picture from our catalog or provide your own high-quality image.

How do I properly care for a ceramic heater?

Care for the heater includes regular dusting with a soft cloth without abrasive cleaning agents.
