Electric heater - what's inside

We talk a lot about the benefits of switching your home to electric radiators. They save space, look great, are much more efficient than water radiators and heating systems, and can even save you money.

  • Electric heater - what's inside

Most people know how a standard water radiator works (the heated water from the boiler flows through it). But how do electric devices work?

Varieties of ceramic electric heaters

Unlike standard electric radiators, electric radiators are not filled with water. Inside there can be a needle, tubular (TEN), or monolithic heating element. To choose the right electric heater, you need to understand its varieties:

  • Ceramic heaters quickly accumulate and release heat energy. The heating element is a ceramic emitter. Hybrid units are accompanied by an air-heating element. Such heat sources continue to give it away, even when the device is already off.
  • Oil models. The sealed housing contains technical grease inside. It receives energy from the heating element and circulates the unit, heating it.
  • Heat Fans. The heating element works together with an electric motor that drives the blades. The principle of operation consists in blowing out the heated air.
  • Infrared devices. Have a vacuum quartz tube, inside which there is a carbon or tungsten spiral. Such a heater quickly heats up, emitting infrared energy and light.

The most efficient and economical today are ceramic electric heaters.

What advantages of ceramic electric heaters?

When a ceramic heater works, the heated air mixes with the cold air, so the room is evenly warm. The air gives off heat to objects, which means that everything in the room warms up little by little.

Ceramic stove not only accumulates heat but also produces invisible infrared rays. They warm the objects, from which the heat is transferred to the air. The double principle of heating gives an optimal result: the heat synchronously gets all the space around you. Ceramic electric heaters have many advantages:

  • 20-minute heat output after shutting down.
  • Suitability for use in wet rooms.
  • Monolithic design makes the unit more aesthetic and reliable.
  • Prevention of drying out the air.
  • Easy installation.

Ceramic electric heaters are not only characterized by the productive functioning of the built-in elements, but also by a modern design that harmonizes with various interiors.
